A focused set of certifications and practices, upheld across sourcing and production — every shipment held to the standard we set for ourselves.
At the center of everything we do at Ramabhadra, is our people. We are a company of artisans and craftspeople embracing a manufacturing tradition strongly rooted in our regional textile heritage. Through structured training and apprenticeships, we have long valued the opportunity for our craft to be shared with the next generation of Ramabhadra employees.
We design and manufacture every Ramabhadra product with a fully documented, traceable process. This is a key advantage in both the quality and the stature of our offering — production we stand behind, start to finish.
Rooted in our region since 1974, we've watched textile manufacturing become a global conversation about responsibility. As long-standing supporters of sustainable sourcing and fair labour practices, we believe promoting those values has become essential to every industry — not just ours.
Since 1974, every spindle turned on our floor has passed through hands that know the fibre. Machines set the pace, but it's decades of accumulated skill — checked, refined, and handed down — that decide the quality of what leaves this mill.
01
Responsible Energy
A commitment that began in 2006 and runs to today — continuous investment in cleaner processing and lower-impact energy use across the factory floor.
02
Water Stewardship
Controlled effluent treatment and reduced water intensity in dyeing and finishing, monitored as closely as output volumes.
03
People & Craft
Skilled operators trained and retained across generations, because consistent quality is ultimately a people discipline, not just a machine one.
04
Traceability
Fibre sourced with a documented chain of custody, from cotton origin through spinning, so buyers can stand behind what they put their name on.
We have quantified the emissions of GHG (greenhouse gas) we produce and have planned improvement actions over the next few years which consist of emissions compensation projects and the implementation of new solutions for reducing electricity consumption.
As part of an ongoing project utilizing renewable energy, we have installed a photovoltaic system at our factory that allows us to produce our own electricity.
We've introduced fabric recovery and recycling processes across our cutting and finishing lines, reducing landfill waste and putting offcuts back into productive use wherever possible.
We've moved our finished-goods packaging to recyclable and biodegradable materials, cutting single-use plastic across shipments without compromising on protection for the product.
